Officiating Courses

IOA

This course is done online through 2 two hour sessions on Zoom, the county then offer a practical session for learners once there are enough learners for the course to run. Once both sessions have been completed the learner then needs to go out and practice at friendly games, training sessions etc. Once confident with Controlling the Centre Pass, Scoring a goal, how to keep a Scorecard, and the Out of Court learners need to contact the County Lead Mentor to be assigned a mentor.  Unqualified umpires who are being mentored must not umpire without their mentor present as their insurance will be invalid.

C Award

This course is done online through 2 one and half hour sessions on Zoom. Once both sessions have been completed the learner then needs to contact the County Lead Mentor to be assigned a mentor.

B Award

This course is done through blended learning, 2 one and a half hour sessions on Zoom, then a 2 hour practical session at a Regional venue. Once all 3 sessions have been completed you will then need to contact the County Lead Mentor to be assigned a mentor.
